# Installing Docker

## Setting up Docker

* Docker needs a Linux server to manage
* Some people using Linux VM to run docker
* Docker helps run this Linux VM as shown below

Where
* "Program named Docker" is a client program
* "Docker" including LinuxVM is server program

Simplest running docker container: `docker run hello-world`

## Docker Desktop

As I'm working on Ubuntu, docker desktop (only for Windows and Mac) is no need. As docker is just another program on linux

`docker info` tell's general information about the docker server program
